Things I've discovered!
I haven't posted for quite awhile on here because frankly things have been hard for me and I'm not sure how to express myself. So I came up with a list of things that I've discovered about myself and my family lately.
*I miss my dear mother like crazy. (No one loves you like your Mom!)
*I would not be a very good single mom/ I'm just not good on my own (thank you God for my hubby)
*I'm a crier! (that's putting it mildly)
*For some reason my boys do not like wearing jeans.....strange I know.
*I have a very weird almost crazy hatred for misplacing or losing things/ I know no one likes to but I have to really talk myself down when this happens.
*I am trying to be more conscious about my purchasing habits (fair trade or something that will directly profit someone that is using it for a great cause)
*I'm really not used to others helping me in any way.
*I have a lot to work on spiritually, emotionally, & physically.....I know it's quite a shock to me, too! :)
*I really dislike clutter!
*I've lost a sense of my "style" over the years and am enjoying finding it again.
*That I so really hate to wait on something that I yearn for and to not have any sense of a schedule when it might happen (hence adoption) I think God might be working there.
Well, that's just a few things that have popped into my head lately. Life has been a constant adaptation lately with Joel's changing work schedule so I feel like my emotions and head are all over the place. Please Lord keep me on the "path" and don't let me straggle too far.

We finally have our December Number!
I also know that this is even out of date already since there's been two more referrals so we "unofficially" are at #89!

Gavin had the opportunity to play 2 games of flag football this year against a neighboring town and had lots of fun.

November Waitlist Number
Well, I must admit it's with a heavy heart that I let you know that this month we haven't moved at all. We are still #94 and to be honest it seems so very far away. I know this is all in His timing and the outcome will be SO worth the wait but sitting at this place right now is kinda hard. This brings me back to my go to verse during this adoption.
"For these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient. For it will surely take place. It will not be LATE by a single day. " Habakkuk 2:3

Man do we feel blessed lately!!! Not only is our dear friend doing a fundraiser for us with her awesome handmade jewelry but a wonderful 7 year old girl named Elizabeth decided that she wanted to help and make some very cute scrunchies to help us, as well. I must admit I do not feel worthy of all of this love bestowed on us but I know it's all from Him. Take a look at her wonderful creation.

Our Latest Fundraiser!
We have been very blessed by a dear friend from our church with our latest fundraiser. She is an artist that makes the most beautiful personalized jewelry and wants to bless us this month. All proceeds go to our adoption (bless her). These items would be fantastic Christmas gifts or just something for yourself. Please check it out and pass it along, as well.
